Good day to you! My name is Rowan (he/they), I’m a historical tailor, illustrator, writer, and designer. I have been tailoring for 5 years, with a usual focus in the 1770s-1930s, and wear historical clothing daily. I will be a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.F.A. in Theatre with a concentration in costume design and technical production in May 2026. I won 1st place in the costume technology and 3rd place in the costume design competition at SETC in 2025. I was an intern in the tailor shop at Colonial Williamsburg May-December 2025. I will be presenting research at the Colonial Williamsburg Historical Dress Symposium in November 2026.
